Warning over cuts in transport spending

One thing I would cut out is the trolley bus funding for a few pointless routes in Leeds and instead divert the money into maintaining much needed rural routes that have seen successful growth over the years, like the 923, Meltham/Slathwaite/Holmfirth locals the Hebden Bridge/Todmorden network etc. The Park and Ride facilities at Woodhouse and Stourton are hardly going to cut congestion bearing in mind most of the congestion from the north happens around Hyde Park/Headingley and the 3 lane M621 with the A61s lanes are over bursting with traffic to an extent that the whole of Belle Isle estate would be needed for the site!
