Be Great to see some More Yorkshire Rider livered buses or even in Leeds City Link Livery. Shame noone got hold of one of the 8011-8042 batch.

incorrect not strange.. First sell buses for non pcv and charity use as well as scrap.

I dont see why the owner doesn't want to be named unless they're entering different use - ie a campervan/tourbus. Its only a bus, if it was for preservation we'd back them 110%. If not, then so be it.

Think of it this way, If you had a load of bus enthusiasts outside your home almost every day of the week, some of whom would knock on your door and ask to have a look around the buses, would your wife and family be impressed? Would they feel that they get no privacy and that the home has to be clean all the time? Would they and you feel the security of their home could be at risk, after all strangers are people you don't know so no matter how good their intention, you just could never know what their really up to until the scroat posing as the enthusiast has robbed you of your car keys for example.

I think Thandi in the West Midlands have one which they bought via Ireland so escaped the 'not for further PCV use in the UK' rule.
