First Bus are offering a FirstFamily Easter ticket (which you have to buy online), allowing five people to travel on any First bus in West Yorkshire and York for a week for £30. The ticket is also valid on the X64 route, the X84 into North Yorkshire, plus the 184, 589, 590 and 592 into Greater Manchester and/or Lancashire. Weird thing is the validity dates. The ticket is valid between the 2nd and 18th April in Bradford, Huddersfield, Leeds and York, but between 27th March and 11th April in Calderdale www.firstgroup.com/ukbus/yorkhumber/caldhudd/easter/index.php

It obviously corresponds to the relevant school holidays, everyone except Calderdale must be having a late Easter holiday this year.

Wouldn't it have been far easier to have the ticket cover all 3 weeks, so that Calderdale based passengers don't find themselves short changed or vice versa with passengers from elsewhere not being able to travel "unlimited" including the advertised Calderdale to GM/Lancs services.

I imagine it's just based on being able to buy them, not use them.
