Seems it was there to pick up a 70 tonne generator and transport it to Pakistan. It departed just after lunchtime today, and requires a huge distance to take-off and land, and Doncaster Robin-Hood Airport ā formerly an RAF base for the āVā-Bombers during the Cold War ā boasts a massive 1.7 mile long runway, making it the perfect place for the Antonov 225 to land.
