First deployed a ALX400 on the 1027 28 Service from Adel to Clarence Dock. I always thought the royales were comfortable but these ALX's are sure comfy.

I'm not sure some of these reported misallocations over the last week are truly misallocations. Kirkstall mangement now have a new fleet to look after and certainly at first there are likely to be different vehicles on different routes. Plus given all the reports of ALX400s on Headingley routes (also I have seen several myself) may indicate this is to become permanent?

The miscellaneous selection of buses used on the 2/3/3A etc recently (Dual door Olympians, Royales, Striders and Darts) does rather undermine the £4 million investment to make this group of routes 100% low floor and boasted about in First publicity at the time.

Ones that come to mind are 30850, 30946, 31145.

Not all misallocations, but certainly a contrast in styles and all seen in Ilkley within 25 mins of each other:
A red/blue line branded Gemini bodied B9TL on the X84
Jackson's of Silsden Optare Solo on 884
Jackson's LDV Convoy minibus
02 Plate Eclipse B7L (with shower cubicle engine compartment) on 650
AEC Routemaster on Bolton Abbey Railway free bus.
Not every day you see all those together!

had the pleasure of riding on 37121 b9tl with red/blue line advert on right side on 96 service to leeds.wind was playing havoc with this bus's doors as kept banging open whenever driver closed them & had big rattle in engine whenever slowed down. also 30924 operating on 51A to morley which was overrevving. check out m youtube account for these vids & more taken today.

Sunday (& Bank Holiday Monday) is the only day when these 3 Darts really get a chance to 'play out' on something other than the Tadcaster-Ponte routes - and as such they can often be found on 403/406 (or pretty much anything!)

losts of misallocs today (no numbers as i couldn't get a chance), a Volvo Olympian Royale on the 12, F422 GWG on the 42 or 49? a royale on the 49, a B7RLE & Scania Single decker on the 56 when a B7TL ALX400 was on the 18(a) all day!

There has been a Royale on the Red & Blue as well, Red & Blue B9TL also on the Metro Connect 757. Not really a misallocation but a darwen on the 117.

Well Darwens should be allocated to the 110 so I suppose it is a missallocation.

I have been informed that Hunslet Park allocated one of the contravision B9TLs to the 96 on Tuesday or Yesterday!
It also looks like the ALX400s are becoming a permanant fixture for the Headingley & University corridor as at least four were on various routes today.

^^They were about 3 or 4 on todays 96 route must of been a shortage of Royales and Olympians.
ALX400 on the X84 1655 Skipton Service (Must be a good performer on long routes) Dart on the 95 Scania N113 on the 88 ALX400 on the 33A

Looks like the Red/Blue Line is now only 50% low floor! More Royales operating the routes today.
