So it will seat about 30 then and the rest standing, like the ftr, it can fit a lot more seats in it if they were arranged properly.

Hopefully if Wrightbus are concentrating on this, First may need to shop around a bit for their next order. I've nothing against their products but would be nice to have some variety, especially around Leeds and Bradford.

I hate the ADL Enviro400's. Give me a Scania E400 or a B9TL E400 anyday but them ADL Versions are horrible.

I like the ADL E400 cant fault anything with them. Theyre a great ride on the 268, better than any B9TL that First Have.

Hello K414 MGN,just wondering why you hate the ADL enviro 400 so much?. The reason i ask is because in the last year or so i have ridden an ADL400/E400 with stagecoach manchester, a scania/E400 with stagecoach lancs and a volvo B9TL/E400 with east yorks and the only difference i could notice was a different exhaust note from the obviously different engines. Just curious as to what gets your goat with the ADL engined version.

Looks like someone chopped up a 1960s Alexander double decker,Plaxton President and bmmo D9 joined up what left and stuck them on a Volvo chassis.

That is the one that actually moves but still a development bus. Boris Johnson drove it round Millbrook testing ground.

Way past Spring Bank Holiday for 2012 but TFL have announced today an order of 600, or up to 600, Borismasters spread over the next four years although interestingly they will be purchased directly by TFL and allocated to operators. www.tfl.gov.uk/corporate/media/newscentre/25748.aspx

The Wrightbus website still lists it as 'New Bus for London" under their products menu.

...and classified as the LT class.

As any bus built for London is technically speaking a new bus for London, the term "New Bus for London" is strictly speaking misleading. When I talk about them, I do just refer to them as LTs.
As 30 new buses are due to be in service on an entire route next April, it cannot be route 38 as this would be insufficient buses for this route. As route 82 was due new Hybrid buses, this could be the route in question.
