A quiz question for you all
- Starting at number 1, what is the lowest number that has not been used for a service in West Yorkshire during the last 10 years
- There is only one number in the 300s that hasn't been used since 1999, what is it?
There are many unused numbers in the 500s and 600s by the way (in the last 10 years)

Aha! Got it, it's the number 39. This number hasn't been used much over the last 25 years in fact, I only recall it ever been used up til the mid 90s for a couple of variations to the 38 during peak times.

I've got an 11 listed as Leeds - Middleton - White Rose Centre operated by First Quickstep. I can't recall it but it must have run some time between 2000 and 2003
39 was Armley to Bramley also run by First Quickstep, withdrawn October 2004, The 7 was Leeds to Rothwell operated by First Quickstep withdrawn April 2006

Concerning the 600s the following service numbers are not currently used
600,601,602,603,604,605,608,609,628,631,632,633,634,635,638,639,642,643,644,646,647, 648,651,655,661,666,667,668,669,671,672,673,674,676,678,679,683,684,685,686,687,688, 689,690,691,692,693,694,695 and 699
Of the above I do not recalled any route that were allocated the following nos 604,632,672,693 and 695
the 631 was used very very briefly back in 1999 for the Bierley-Haworth Road service instead of the normal 621 no between Christmas and New Year for some strange reason

I don't ever recall the number 77 ever being used in West Yorkshire in the last 10 years if not longer. I know there has been x77 valentines fair buses but that's about the nearest I've seen to the number 77 being used. I'm going for that one.

The number 77 was used for a Leeds to Middleton service some years ago, probably within the last 10 years but I'm not completely sure.

The number 77 was used for a Leeds to Middleton service some years ago, probably within the last 10 years but I'm not completely sure. The 77 That I last saw when we lived down Horsforth was replaced by the 63. It ran Horsforth-Middleton via Leeds. The days when they were grouped along Queenwood Drive and Middleton 74, 75, 76 and 77!. The 77 ran towards Horsforth and went back to Middy as at 75 and eves and suns ran as 75 both ways also introduced later towards the end was 75A. Then came the 63!

I recall there was a service possibly numbered 77 that had a very limited timetable, I'm sure it only ran Saturday evenings or something like that. Middleton to Bramley I think it ran, anyone any idea?

Has there been a 93 in the last 10 years?
As for the 300's, I've narrowed it down to 329, 330, 334, 367, 369, 379 and 386.

Yes you are right there was a 672 service in the late 80s/early90s which ran from Thornton to Shipley via Bradford Royal Infirmary which was numbered at one point as 627.

627 AKA 672 ran via back streets so as not to compete with other services. Only ran am so not really any good for a day out. there WAS a 632 por service which linked BD10 to the John st area. Unlikle other por services it didn't directly compete with yr and was quietly dropped when yr bought out por.

Middleton to Bramley I think it ran, anyone any idea? Perhaps you are thinking of the 73 Greenthorpe-Moor Grange service which existed for many years but ended up only running on Saturday evenings. In the last few years of service it was renumbered 76 (to accommodate for the 73 Leeds to Pudsey).
