I travel on these things sorry I cannot call them buses up to St James,s hospital every day now to work ,I find them very poor on the comfort side after traveling on a nice comfortable Arriva Yorkshire Spectra on on the 217 or am I just being a Victor Meldrew??

I enjoy them. They've grown on me. If they had an increased capacity i think they'd be fantastic.

First have dressed Mutton as Lamb with the FTR. All it is is a glorified underpowered Bendibus. Best thing i can think about them is the conductors!

There not bad buses, but the engine is underpowered , it's a shame there not on a newer chassis that uses a euro 4/5 engine rather than a euro 3. disadvantage is another problem, see them breaking down or not turning up, especially as timings on the number 4 in leeds aren't great. waited 25 minutes today and 19018 and 19016 both turned up at once. My quote below, happens to be said by a passenger when the conductor couldn't get his ticket machine working , so he let everyone on for free. ;D

Oh they are but i do like them, i think they're comfortable, warm when needed, cold when needed. I actually think the capcity is the only problem with them for me

I like these buses very much! The first time I saw it, it was in Huddersfield heading towards Brighouse on the A641. I was on the Huddersfield bound X6 and it certainly caught the attention of all the passengers. As others have mentioned the low number of seats is the issue with these buses.

They are great except the quality of the seats - obviously ran out of money to give them high quality seating. The conductors make this service so unique and worthwhile.
