Apologes for sending messages twice. There is a fault on my browser. Anyone know how to get a timetable for Ryanair routes from Yeadon ? The LBA site doesn't have an uptodate/reliable one . The Ryanair site does only individual days/routes ?

I wonder why Jet 2 haven't tried some of these routes, as Leeds Bradford is their main hub?

Different business plan. Jet2 aims at the leisure traveler, its 'better' charter carrier (ie toms/tcx's). It also aims at point to point travel, so VFR from those who have family etc in Spain or those that are coming back to see them. It's cities, DUS, BFS, CDG, AMS are all aimed at the leisure traveler or EG AMS day tripper. Now people are going to argue that they serve destinations that are cities or not aimed at the Leisure traveler (eg MAN-TLV). Thats a huge market hence why it serves it and fits in with it's plan of VFR traffic.
Ryanair aim at everything, everyone and anything. As long as people sit on their planes, and as long as they've ripped everyone off they couldn't give two monkeys about what route they operate.

Yet more good news from ryanair at Leeds/Bradford Airport. It has just been confirmed that low fares airline ryanair.com will be adding a 3rd based Boeing 737-800 aircraft to there Yorkshire base next summer 2012. The airline has also announced that it will also be adding 6 new routes to Chania (Crete), Corfu, Dinard, Kos, Milan (Bergamo) and Tenerife and extend its popular Kaunas and Riga routes to its summer 2012 schedule See full press release @ www.leedsbradfordairport.co.uk/about-the-airport/news/2011-11-03-ryanair-new-routes

Looking at these, there's room for the 3rd a/c to have more destinations. Tenerife, Milan & Dinard served 2 weekly, while the rest 1 weekly. Of course Milan & Dinard won't need a full day. All in all good news, however disappointing when you look at the massive market they are missing out on serving for eastern europe.

Change to Ryanair timetables. Nantes is dropped from the summer 2012 schedule (presumably replaced by Dinard). Not sure what's happening to Nantes Atlantique is it closing, a new airport is planned to serve Loire-Atlantique. Pisa (for Florence) is listed as summer only. Treviso (for Venice) continues with a change to days of operation.
