No they can't, due to Health & Safety regulations.

The centre doors would have to be ripped out for a start cos we all know how much Metro fear drivers opening centre doors in bus stations! They must think drivers have it in for passengers and want them all dead!

Am more thinking can they use it to reversing out of stand. Not bothered about Health & Safety regulations, because they are just stupid.

There is a way round using Artics in LCBS, create a stand down the side of stand 1 abit further near the enterance for the buses. Like what they did at Seacroft. They dont have to reverse and use both doors. I wouldn't trust drivers to reverse them though, or any bus for that matter.

Really though in the bus station you don't need to reverse out and turn. Easier to just reverse out straight, make sure you have no buses in the next two stands to the right and turn left to head out (would be an easier turn then Headrow to park row/albion street in an arctic because wouldnt be as tight). then again this is coming from a non bus driving person.

Not as easy as you think try reverseing with a trailer on your car it dosent go in a straight line.

I deal with wagon drivers who drive wagon and drag type trailers (the box trailer to a non artic lorry) and they never like to reverse one as they have no control over where they go. The same probably applies to artic buses although they have more of the back part attached to the front so control will be better.
