And anyhow, we (Leeds) have only got one step enterance single decker remaining which is 61048 and that means that the Marshalls aren't replacing our striders etc.

10021 10022 was there with " not in service in the window" saw 10022 today on the 1 sounded terrible and had a bad lean at the back!

Yes i know, what i meant by that is that we have one step enterance single decked bus remaining so the how ever many Marshalls coming to West Yorkshire aren't replacing Leeds' 1 remaining step enterance s-d.

So i suppose that the Volvo B6BLE will stay with Hunslet, while the marshall darts head to bramley?

I've heard the B6s are on their way out of Leeds but to where i dont know. We already have a mini/midi-bus shortage. The Marshalls are off to Halifax Nick.

So we have a mini/midi bus shortage in Leeds, yet FWY are shunting all darts to Halifax and getting rid of the B6'S. mmmm first are really clever sometimes. Next thing you know, those ex-X-Class branded B7RLE will be doing 31/32 and Olympians on the 78. Madness.

Next thing you know, those ex-X-Class branded B7RLE will be doing 31/32 and Olympians on the 78. Madness. We've already seen x classes doing the 78 so it is a viable option. Some routes such as the quarry house shuttle and the 62s for example could be operated using bigger buses (many a time the 62 is operated by a large vehicle) and i'm sure the 66/7 with a couple of route ammendments could be operated by a larger vehicle. The 31/2, can this route be altered so small streets with tight turns are eliminated? Yes larger vehicles cost more to run, but how about Metro ammend the timetables so services don't need to run as often, I'm sure you could get away with having the 78s taken off one or two runs as I have hardly seen anyone use the bus which arrives in Leeds from Cross Gates around lunchtime. I'm sure you could have two 31 journeys taken off, if villages can put up with significantly fewer journeys then so can townsfolk. The question is, do we really need midibuses/minibuses or can we get by without them.

Are the Otley Local Services (96-) all in with one tender or are there some that are Tender others commercial.
Am sure that when (if its all of the 96- services) come up to tender First could give it up saving them 4 Mini/Midi buses. These services could be taken over by TLC.

It was also said that the marshall darts would be replacing striders which hasn't happened as so far all Halifax's have gone on minibus routes, so you need to consider that a - plans change and b - the whole picture of what is happening isn't clear yet It was also said that York were losing all their B6s and that hasn't happened either

Halifax have a good few midi low floor buses (in the form of those early Low Floor darts) so have replaced the strider's on those routes, and the darts have replaced the routes they came off. Photo on Flickr will find it for you.

Halifax still have 9 step enterance single deckers remaining so 4 think that they will be replaced by the remaining marshall darts that are due. The 9 is excluding the merc beavers
