Isn't it ironic that back in the days when Leylands ruled First and Arriva, Blazefield (now Transdev) were transforming their company fleets at a rate none of the other big West Yorkshire competitors could keep up with, however Transdev today are the only big group company in West Yorkshire to have Leylands in service!

Got to remember that it is only now a limited amount of Leylands in the whole of the blazefiled fleet. (are they all with K&D)

You wouldn't think though all those years ago that they would have any left by now as they were the modernisers of transport!

Arriva 616 the last remaining South Yorkshire Bus and Arriva Yorkshire only Leyland is still in daily service at Selby and can sometimes been seen in Wakefield and Leeds.

Yes the Bristol ones are still in use on schools Dam, forgot about them as well as 616 in Selby! Still it doesn't disprove the argument that you wouldn't expect Transdev to still have Leylands and who knows, they could in a few years be the last of the big groups to have them in West Yorkshire.

I think 616's days are numbered now, although being out-stationed at Selby could extend it's life expectation a bit.
