You had to pay £1.00 to reserve seats until a few years ago. From reading the article it seems it will not apply to all users; even so it is disgusting to be charged such a heavy fee. I thought once a train departs and the reserved seat is left unoccupied then that seat became freely available, so why the fuss from Nat Ex? I know...they need all the cash they can lay their grubby hands on.
