Connexions have given a ommicity DD the 64 branding Y20 CXB (YN56 FCC). It was revealed at their Wetherby rally a few months back.

It will look even worse once the roads turn mucky - Ipswich had the livery right with the purple towards the lower rear

I liked the comment of "It's a bus that we've not long bought so it's not in our colours yet" as if anyone really knows what their colours are and that could well end up simply vinyled for a specific route, which it would often not be on.

been proven to be an error in the system. Clearly, as it couldn't spot a bus.

Craig has now confirmed that York Council will provide funding for the 13 to continue running a Saturday service, and the 412 to continue running a weekday service, at the current timetables (give or take some tweaking) until the end of March.

So first day of the 961/962/965 so back to a wharfedale locals all been run by same company.
Looks like some right interworking happening which I guess is due to shoestring budget they expected to run on.
Anyone know how first day has gone from a driver or passenger perspective

I was slightly suspicious when both new Optare Solos had been marked as being repainted within minutes of them tracking, knowing how people can jump the gun on there, but helpfully the Dalesbus twitter account has snapped both of them
Both painted differently as you can tell

Assumes the white one is going to get extra "branding" otherwise it looks pretty dumb IMO.

The last 3 purchases have resulted in a Decker for 64 in it's own branding and 2 buses for the 13. The last brand new bus though was the current L50LOW

What about the two Solos for Wharfedale? they aren't brand new. Nor were the double-decker for the 64 and the two buses for the 13, which you said were "the last 3 purchases".

CN57BJK has joined the fleet from Cardiff Bus. Both this and CN57 BHZ will enter the paint shop soon to be painted into a revised 64 livery to replace the YN56 Omnicitys on the route.

Expecting some snide comment on their facebook page tomorrow; Transdev have been tweeting since Friday that the road leading to St James retail park at Knaresborough is closed for a large part of tomorrow and their 1A is truncated as a result while the 8 is diverted. No explanation by Connexions as to what is happening with the X1A and X1B.

Does anyone know why the 781 exists? It seems a strange route. 1 journey a day from a Leeds suburb to Otley (and 1 back again). I can see why most routes exist, but not that one.

Does anyone know why the 781 exists? It seems a strange route. 1 journey a day from a Leeds suburb to Otley (and 1 back again). I can see why most routes exist, but not that one. It used to run to/from central Leeds and had up to four journeys a day on Otley market days.
