Wonder if they might make the livery more exciting for York. Its still too much like Veolia.

It has been reported on the Blazefield Yahoo that two Solos are to go to Blackburn in exchange for some of the Versas.

Hasn't that info now been superseded by the news that the versas will be used on the competitive Yorkshire Coastliner service instead?

why under the coastliner brand when they don't reach the coast. Yorkshire express livery is more suited.

They will be promoting the service as running every 15 mins, not two different brands running every 30 mins. Coastliner is a well known brand, Yorkshire Express has been around five minutes on one route

It looks like these are starting to come across after repainting. Versa 273 (YJ57 ZWW) was sat in the York depot in Coastliner livery this lunchtime.
