Since when are LS operating a constant schedule to America. Maybe for the SSH but i would imagine for all destinations with a 757 operating them.
TFS, PFO, SSH, TLV, ACE, AGP, FAO, ALC, BCN, NCE, RHO(i think a 757 will be opearting that this year), DLM.

I don't think the Barcelona and Nice flights are operated by a 757, could be wrong though. The winglets will help to reduce fuel consumption on all the flights so it would make sense all the 757's to have them fitted, especially as you never know what destinations could be introduced over the coming years
I also read somewhere that the 757's are getting refurbished inside with new red leather seats and a new carpet.

alright nick, theres no need to be so rude how would you know if jet2 were not going to go to america on a perm basis, the flights to new york were fully booked and im sure they would have a good market for orlando, so may be watch this space and thats the need for winglets for the longer range flights and maybe thats why they are fitting them!!!!!!!

Believe me they arnt going to do that. Do you know the range of a 757 and the distance from LBA to MCO
You have to remember jack that those were code shared with there subsdairy Jet2 Holidays so most of the bookings were with the packages because it was cheaper than just the Flight.
And i guess if they were looking for long haul flights they would be looking at the 767-200/300.

Thats correct, even with the winglets the 757 would still need a tech stop in somewhere like Gander before continuing on to MCO. JFK/EWR, whilst popular as Xmas shopper excursions would probably not work out of LBA, especially in the current climate. The best hope for LBA-New York would be for Continental to offer a daily or 5 times a week service. They have a huge hub out of New York Newark which is pretty much a requirment for 'non charter' transatlantic operations.
