First Bus have done a survey, which tied in with Valentine's Day last week, to find men and women's ideal celebrity back seat bus companion.
3,000 people was polled across the UK, and the top female companion with men and women was Cheryl Cole, beating Kate Winslet. The top male companion differed with men and women. Women preferred the company of George Clooney, Brad Pitt or David Tennant, while men preferred a bit of comedy with Peter Kay, Vernon Kay and Stephen Fry coming up top.
Bottom of the list were Celebrity Big Brother contestants Verne Troyer and LaToya Jackson.
The survey also found that 59% of men and 34% of women said they have spotted someone they have fancied on a bus, 36% of men and 19% of women have flirted with someone during a journey, 23% of mena and 9% of women have asked someone out, of which 30% lasted for a couple of months, while 4% got married.
13% of people in Leeds polled have got married following meeting somebody at a bus stop or on a bus, which is significantly lower than the 50% of people polled in Aberystwyth.
