It's the Arriva Yorkshire West Yorkshire Day Ticket which can also be used on services into South Yorkshire too.

There go at the Day Rider I don't get what you mean there? Do you mean it's Arriva's equivalent of the FirstDay ticket or a competing product?

1900-1907 were all out in force today on the 268. Not all have been branded yet as some only arrived this morning at 4am! We went on 1903 and 1904. They were very nice buses and were comfy. Don't if anyone has noticed on these yet that the bell sometimes goes "Ping" and sometimes "Buzz" both were heard on 1903. 1903 still had delivery ticket on back of bus.
I have posted a few pictures of 1903 and 1904 in service in the Multimedia section.

The Heckmondwike engineers will now be working on three different makes of Chassis now with the arrival of these. I thought nowadays bus companies try and keep certain makes at a specific depot.

I have heard from a Driver that Castleford are to order some Optare Tempos due to the success of the trail bus on loan. This will be interesting to see in Arriva Colours. That would mean Dewsbury will get Enviro200s, Heckmondwike with Enviro400s and Eclipes, Belle Ilse with last/this years Olympus, Castleford with loaned buses!(Maybe Tempos) Only leaves Selby the odd one out with cast offs buses that are no good to other depots!!

I'd forgottent the West Yorkshire Day Ticket was £4.00. Had it in my mind it was £4.50, which is the (whole of) Yorkshire Day ticket, I think.

I've also noticed that the "Connecting Kirklees" branding is the opposite way round, with the Connecting in orange and Kirklees in cream, rather than the usual style with Connecting in cream and Kirkleees, Hemsworth etc in colour. Hope this makes sense!

Selby got the three Alexander Dennis Pointers back in February 2006, not much I know. However, they do have some good buses there which only need a lick of paint and refurbishment.

Selby will recieve 8 new buses next year. This will then make Selby 100% low floor also the remaining buses will be refurbished.

So do we know the full fleet details of the Enviro400s then? Have any more entered service?

Over the last few days, people have seen the Enviro 400 appearing on several different routes (219/254/X25). Is this pure incorrect allocation by the allocator or are they testing them out on other routes (although the 254/55/X25 has got its new fleet of Eclipse Urban's) that are due an upgrade?

When are they going to get branded up then? As they were pretty swift when it came to the Eclipses.

PS is it usual for drivers to get out of cabs and start shouting at you about things??? since this happened to me!

well it all started off when we was travelling on geldard road as usual i like to film the bus thrashing to leeds as have done the last 2 years now.started off normal then started to floor it down road not bothering to brake on the narrow bends.got to end of geldard road he stopped the bus got out came to back of the bus and said to me "oh wev just done 62.5mph if u want to know that" then started going on bout families and how drivers have to earn livings and not want people to judge on youtube bout way they drive or some sorta crap :S:S.
seems odd they pick now to say something to me?

I suppose this generally goes back to the whole photography issue. As you are putting this on the public domain, therefore anyone can see this plus an Arriva official. As a result, the depot and the driver could possibly get into hot and bother. You just have to be discrete over these things.
Well back to the point of public domain, I was on a school field trip a while back and filmed the coach going up Sutton Bank. Which, of course, I found out is a big no no with many operators not liking coaches going up there, but coming down fine. I had the owner of the particular operator contact me wanting to know about the video. So there could of been concequences to my actions on the driver.

Swiftly back to topic, the 268 had a full allocation of Enviro400s today, a PVR of 10 if you want to know!
More buses seem to have been branded for the 268 but devoid of Mr Men applications. Is 1900 only to recieve such treatment to attract attention to the route or work in progress on application of vinyls?

I caught 1905 yesterday on 268 out of Dewsbury. Was pretty impressive and prefer the sound of the Trident engine to the B9TL. I think it might just be 1900 that receives Mr Men branding.

Enviro 400's are ace, I'm glad Arriva have bought these buses for yorkshire. Makes a better change using a completely different bus chassis and bodywork, breaks from that very annoying tradition within 2008 with most companies including First, Transdev resorting to B9TL Wright Eclipse Gemini Instead which is very boring now and Yorkshire have got around 100 of these buses on the road. Time for something different. CHEERS ARRIVA FOR GETTING YORKSHIRE A BETTER BATCH OF BUSES.
