Today must rank as the worst day for bus travel in Leeds for many years. No first Leeds buses at all. None of the strike timetable buses have run, the information provided by first is shocking with hard to find timetables / timetables for other days on routes they said aren’t operating. The twitter responses to desperate people are just standard copy & paste with no understanding of the issues. Strikes will happen but first have really let themselves down with the response. Never known a company so out of touch. None of the strike buses have run? That's funny as I drove from Rodley to Cross Gates (around the ring road) earlier and saw 4 First buses on 6, 38, 7 and 56.

Firstly: Ilkley is not in the Yorkshire Dales National Park which is what most people refer to as the Yorkshire Dales I live in Airedale, but I wouldn't tell people I live in the Yorkshire Dales. Secondly: Feel free to link to where the X84 is on their website as I can't see it. There are references to it as the Dales Rover is valid on it (along with many other services) Thirdly: If you want to ensure you don't see where people have put news updates, that's hardly their fault. For everyone who hasn't done that, it's on their homepage so couldn't be much more prominent. Perhaps don't make accusations when you've chosen to limit what you can see on their webpage. X84 timetable listed under all year buses on the Dalesbus site, link attached below www.dalesbus.org/all-year-buses.htmlAnd not trying to go too far off topic but Ilkley is in the Dales as described by the town itself below yorkshire-dales.com/ilkley/The X84 timetable is not on the Dalesbus website. They direct you to Metro's website. Well done on finding a random website talking about Ilkley being on the edge of the Dales. There's no evidence there that the town itself describes itself in that way (I didn't know towns could describe themselves), just that that website (of a company based in Manningham) does.

Yorkshire Bus have been and are running addtional trips on 29 & 29A between Holt Park & the bus station. 29A has ran this afternoon and this evening. Latest YB statement has confirmed additional trips for on a morning and the evening ones will be announced each day as it's going to be built in around the schools and current service works.

Nice to have a strike quickly resolved for once.

Nice to have a strike quickly resolved for once. Assuming the drivers go for it.
