Took 33882 up Blackstone Edge last night from Rochdale and it flew up the hill from Littleborough to the White House at 35mph all the way up. Although no passengers on that was the performance that they had when at Bramley before they were made Euro 6. If it still had the Baumot system on I would have had to go via the Calder Valley. Isn't there a 13"3' restriction on the bridge at Littleborough? Which way do you bypass it?

Sorry pressed enter button far too early!!! Coming from Rochdale, turn right over Smithy Bridge level crossing, turn left at Hollingworth Lake and follow the road to the give way and turn right for Halifax. Whatever you do DON'T turn left, as the aformentioned bridge is the left turn. LOL. It will be the natural diversion if Tod and the valley is closed/flooded, indeed I did it once, flooding, when I was at Halifax 1979-92, admitted with a 7001 -10, but was told under no circumstances go under the bridge, they were 13'6".
