You can probably buy such an aged single deck for about £100! sellers usually want that if it's been sold for parts. The average old school motor like the Darts, Solos & ALX400s usually sell 2nd for between £3k-£10k. An old design e200 or Solo SR you're looking at anything from £10k-£32,500+. Newer vehicles say e200MMC or e400MMC it'll set you back £65k-£130k+ (proctors currently have a 20 plate e200mmc for sale for example and the asking price is £120k). A Dart that's road worthy but no longer suitable for PSV work people sell for £500 minimum.

1102 on 261, guessing no 377/8 will be running! Nope here is 1102 at Mount Terminus on the 377, a double decker would have even been safer. Attachments:

To be fair I didn’t see this in person, but 1969 looks to be on the 147 right now. Is that a rare working?

One does the morning 0745 Wakefield to Pontefract because of the amount of people for New College Pontefract comes off the 0635 186 Castleford to Wakefield then empty back to Castleford after doing the 147.

I'm a young enthusiast, so correct me, but wasn't the old allocation double deckers for the 377/378? Surely they would attempt to run the route with a larger vehicle? Edit: Found a picture of a double decker on the route. Not my picture, but the source is linked down below. Old buses were so cool! www.youtube.com/watch?v=bZCjCAeDvA0&themeRefresh=1

Yes the 377 in those days was straight up New Hey Road to Outlane like a 537 and then Pole Moor

AY1613 made a rare but very welcome appearance on the 250 this evening. 21.43 out of Heckmondwike. Might not be many more chances to see DB250's in the town where they were originally based.

Whenever I visit Huddersfield there always seems to be Arriva Solo SRs parked on the back wall for prolonged periods of time, are they still failing to operate the 377/378 properly?
Volvo Olympian/Alexander Royale R641HYG was also parked up in the bus station

Volvo Olympian/Alexander Royale R641HYG was also parked up in the bus station To answer the 377/378 question.....Yes, the pilots were taken off end of November, some staff haven't done one bit of route learning, cos of still staff shortages (Heckmondwike about 10 short at least), if they don't know it they don't do it, unless they have a pilot, they have to apply for a pilot a week in advance of doing the routes, except some staff only ask on the day. Rumours are at January Rota Change, it may be going on a smaller rota, as since October, it's on every rota, so, trying to get 160+ drivers learnt the routes is time consuming. There are some drivers now fully competent with the routes who have asked to do them full time, the sticking point is, they would still be interworked with 260/261 to/from Huddersfield, which is not ideal whenever there are roadworks or queues into Huddersfield

One of the denby dart enviros have broken down, saw it with the engine cover off at Waterloo. There’s now a Rosso B9TL tracking.
