On BusTimes yesterday there was some sort of issue that buses not operating routes usually run by Wakefield weren’t able to track properly, presumably someone forgot to set the machines up properly
So we had all kinds of random services tracking, including school routes, and some ran the same single ‘journey’ all day

When I looked on bustimes, 1914 was out and so was a versa from Castleford (haven't seen them but that was tracked yesterday so unless something was on them).
But from a source I found apparently passengers were not happy with arrivas 'confusing' Boxing Day service as majority had destination blinds as 'Not in service' and they didn't know where buses were running from since Wakefield bus station was closed. At least they provided a service though on Boxing Day.

Attached is screenshot for Boxing Day 268, Wakefield/Dewsbury/Cleckheaton bus stations were shut, so, Union Street Wakefield/South Street Dewsbury/Cleckheaton F stand were used instead

I think it will be mostly younger passengers who just can’t comprehend the idea of the Boxing Day service being ‘special’ with different times, different stopping locations and also different fares at one time. They’d expect the same service you’d get on any normal bank holiday
I’m guessing the ticket machine business was due to it being the first year since 2019 that Wakefield has done all routes, hopefully someone will remember to sort it for next year.
Looking at some of the tracking it seems some services got off to a late start, I traced some trips which tracked from Belle Isle and then began service at a location not as per the timetable, such as a 202/203 starting from Mirfield
