It seems like everyone is very surprised that the BMCs are getting HD Connect and the HD Connect branding is getting stronger and stronger with different coloured rear stripes appearing.
Anyways, I do apologize if this is old news but I've recently noticed that some of the buses in First Leeds in the LeedsCity Green livery without stripes have now gained rear stripes. For example, Hunslet's 39204 now looks more like Bramley's 35286 and 35290.

Does anybody have a photograph of the BMC condors in the new HD Connect livery? What's the reason for painting them in normal livery with a yellow stripe? You'd have thought for their age, a simple touch up rather than a full new livery would suffice. Are they expected to be used in normal service regularly for example, or are they looking to replace older vehicles going forward?

It's just First Bus, they would rather spend money on repainting buses about to be withdrawn than use the money to keep routes funded.

Stopping repaints won't save much money to 'keep routes funded' & could possibly be seen as cross-subsidy what is a grey area of what is/isn't allowed for private bus companies. I Wonder with it being rumoured that a new standard UK Wide livery is to be announced soon FWY are wanting to get as many vehicles as possible done into the local liveries before being told to stop.

It’s a bit odd to repaint the BMCs into normal bus livery in my opinion, maybe the blue part should have been yellow? Or the white section yellow instead?

Or the white section yellow instead? A driver has already stated that BMC Condors have less than 18 months left. Every single one of them at every location they run? The primary school services that still exist and have decent enough loadings to not have been axed still presumably need seat belted vehicles

69482 painted - 68677 gone for paint

The fact that 68677 is being painted gives me the thought of whether will end up in the MyBus Metro Eco livery or whether it will be in Halifax's Olympia Urban livery. The ones in Huddersfield are starting to gain the HD Connect livery but with yellow stripes.

68674 at Halifax is prepared for a repaint, possibly into the Olympia Urban livery.

68674 and 68677 has been repainted into a difficult-to-describe livery. Well, it's mostly Urban with yellow rear stripes and the full-on Halifax fleet name, however, they have a purple band at the front, making the livery very questionable whether is Olympia or Urban.
Anyways, Ex-York's 37443 that used to be in Urban livery has now been repainted into LeedsCity Green.

I think Huddersfields look better as they have removed the side marker lights.

First Halifax's 33879 has had it's 3rd repaint into the Halifax Olympia Urban livery, after previously being in 2 coats of Olympia. I believe that it is the 1st Enviro400 to gain this livery, but I might be wrong.

No idea why the Enviros are in Hybrid as the panels are much more aligned with the livery. Doesn't it cost more for Hybrid Olympia since the purple now goes right to the top of the rear rather than just half way?

No BC the Olympia Urban livery, Olympia at the front and Urban at the back means that the rear has to be entirely lilac, presumably to save money and time when it comes to replacing panels.

First Bradford 35226 (SL16 YON) / 63277 (SL15 YVP) repainted into City of Bradford It's so great so see the Bradford repaints resuming after the mass repaint program into HD Connect in Huddersfield, particularly with the B7RLEs, StreetDecks and StreetLites.

It seems like the Enviro400s transferring from Huddersfield to Halifax are gaining HX Connect vinyls instead of having either just the HD Connect Green branding removed or Halifax skylines fitted.
I think this is temporary until the Hunslet painted have the chance to paint them into Olympia Urban livery, as like the Ex-York B7RLEs and B9TLs which most of which are still in Urban.
