Could be permanent as probably the PVR went up when the 165 came into play. And doesn't help when 3 or 4 buses are at Selby on loan either. Whats on loan at Selby? Commanders 1403 and 1413, have been there quite a while. Then the odd e400mmc or pulsar. 1453, 1474. 1455 today, 1059, all been at Selby in the last few weeks. Haven't seen or heard of a versa there though.

It looks like there's 2 mini e200s and 3 of the MCV Evolutions VOR at the min looking at bustimes (granted not always 100% accurate).

Looks like at least two Tempos may have been transferred to Belle Isle as 1309 and another unidentified example (no fleet number on rear) were working services 195/196 in Wakefield yesterday.

If it is the 3050s I would hope so as they need it. Also it makes Wakefield less likely to use 2165 for stupid allocations. Had one of those on the 232 and 496 standing load what a joke.

Had one of those on the 232 and 496 standing load what a joke. the problem is with the Yorkshire network is that majority of it now needs full-sized single decks or deckers to cope with demand. The mini e200s for example should be used on the local routes i.e 102, 104, 105 & 122 Lupset shorts the rest of the mini network in Wakefield is either covered by Globe or been axed any way. They arent needed at Dewsbury as only 230/230a benefit from them for around Ouzlewell Estate and between Whitley & Grange Moor. Take the 111/212 as an example for interworkings, these would be better with Solos or Streetlite WFs on them for capacity instead of the mini e200s as they'd be more nimble for navigagting Pinders quicker for 111 and around the estates on 212 although granted it may have to be the smaller Slimline for Solo on 212.

Traveled on 230 today on an 09 e200 and it managed it quite well, taken it on a pulsar before that felt slightly tight though.

The 09 regs and Pulsars can do the first part but it's tight at the top end especially if there the cluster of Ford Transits up there.

212 cannot run with anything longer than a mini E200 due to the fact it serves Kirkhamgate due to the cut of the 112 that used to serve the village. The pictures on geminis/YJ09 E200s are from when Dewsbury ran the route and it didn't serve the estate as the 112 covered that area

It was agreed on a risk assessment that when the 212 came to BI only short E200s would be used on the route. I certainly wouldnt want to be taking anything bigger around especially at certain times of the day even though in the past larger vehicle have been used ! Penfold

Penfold the problem with the 212 now is that on majority of the route it goes along roads with too much bad parking. I'm surprised the mini e200s can manage the Lady Ann Road/Broomsdale Road sharp turn as it's been white-knuckle last couple of times i've travelled on 212 (surprisingly when Dewsbury had MPDs 216 & 230 during the MPD phase out they got around with ease)

Penfold Penfold When Hecky did 212 on Evenings, we used to take the 1100 Volvos round that was before it served Kirkhamgate as it's had ALX200s, ALX300s, ALX400s, 09 reg e200s, e400s, Commanders, Pulsars, Eclipses, the Step-entrance Ikarus group, Ikarus Polarises 57 & 58, Olympuses, Geminis & Lowlanders all on it and even the step entrance Spectras & Olympians 621-623 on it plus Lynxes, Nationals, Deltas, Merc Beavers & Metroriders and even an MCV Evolution. Plus if i remember rightly the 112 when it was running had the e200MMCs on numerous times.

When Dewsbury and Wakefield shared the 212, ECW bodied Olympians in the 5xx range were the norm.
Now those silky Mini E200s struggle to get up any incline and with few seats at low level, older passengers sometimes find it difficult getting a seat there and many don’t like the drop down seats because they fear they will bite back when they stand up.

Anyone know if the commanders are due to be replaced anytime soon? Seeing as practically I think theres only one left in Arriva in the north west now, surely Yorkshires should be the next to go? Just seems Arriva in Yorkshire has been quite quiet with any fleet replacements ect. As other arriva networks have had new buses this year.

I've heard from several people that Arriva are wanting to sell there Yorkshire operations. It's been a common rumor for a while now.
