questions that need to be asked there is why did the driver not have escort vehicles and had they even don a risk assessment of the route as that light going down could have ended up causing a bad accident. Does anyone know where the incident took place in Harrogate? Near Bilton Working Men's club I think

Posted on a FaceBook page 'Harrogate' is a vid of SK19EZV on a low loader negotiating a left turn - and taking out a traffic light! It is believed the bus was not harmed. questions that need to be asked there is why did the driver not have escort vehicles and had they even don a risk assessment of the route as that light going down could have ended up causing a bad accident. Keighley seem to be making more use of the Mellor Sprinters than previously since the service changes last month.
Previously, they worked the K11-19 routes which finished around teatime or early evening, but since the changes, in addition to the Bronte circulars and the Riddlesden/Cullingworth routes, they seem to work the K6 most of the day and 1 or 2 stay out late on Braithwaite and Thwaites Brow journeys.
Always thought it'd make sense using them at night as they'll be more fuel efficient than Solo's and capacity won't be an issue, plus then Solo's can be deployed on routes such as the 62, 67 and even BronteBus which should safe fuel over using a B7RLE.
