First Halifax 32685-WX56 HKA spotted this morning on the 5:50 departure from Commons. Very rare for this journey to see a double decker. You were up early!! Yeah, but it's one of my local routes, the sound of a noisy B7 with my windows open woke me up when it was heading up to Commons and then I saw it come back later as I was closing my windows.

First Halifax 31777 having a run out on the 512 Mixenden this evening I wish they would put a lot of ALX 400s in service during school holidays. They did that with the B9TLs at Halifax 37700-37703 mainly being used for school routes then in the Summer Holidays they were swapped with 31776-31780.

It wouldn't be the best business decision to make.
The reason 31777 got let out was probably the driver was an enthusiast and he'd only do a late turn if he got his bus.

UID AY E400 Sapphire (229 branding) on 261 Upper Heaton this teatime. Is this a rare occurance?. Iv'e only seen Solo SR's and B7RLE's on the 261 shorts, hence why i ask.

This has been a regular occurance. Remember Tiger/HBC and First Huddersfield always used deckers on the 262 shorts (and 261/263s to Kirkheaton on numerous occasions). The full route would be good for deckers if it wasn't for the low bridge in Mirfield.

Leeds Yutong single decker YD70CGG sat in Ilkley Bus Station yesterday lunchtime.
Didn't appear to be on the X84 as there was an E400MMC sat on stand awaiting departure on that, so reason for being there is unknown.

Not sure if this belongs in here but one of the Bradford streetdecks finally had the next stop announcement and displays coded! The next stop announcements are extremely lazy though

However, thinking about it makes me think that they might not have finished coding the announcements? It seems like the only thing that was coded in was just the stop name which was somethings mispronounced. There was no 'the next stop is...' or anything of the sort, not sure if this is intentional or what not but it makes it feel super odd and unfinished. The display looked cool on the other hand!

Won't've been as this was at Ilkley, you might be thinking of Otley instead
