Tetley's has CH56 out on WCB in place on DWD again. Stagecoach meanwhile had X2 ALX300s on the 59, 22345 & 22445. Arriva had full mashup today with 1430 on 148/149, 1460 (replaced by 1027) on 110, 1493 & 1495 on 202/203 and 1489 on 126/127.

Unusual combination this morning on 147 1943 as main bus and 1400 as dupe Yeah saw it this morning. Quite interesting never seen a commander on it before. Saw 1808 doing the S76 to St wilfrids and heading back. Was sat outside of New college bus stop

Unusual combination this morning on 147 1943 as main bus and 1400 as dupe Well the Commanders & Pulsars have a higher seating capacity than the lil e200s and e200MMCs 1070-1075 which makes sense to use one of them if there's no deckers spare

Just a shame that there isn't a dupe for the evening return as the 1559 departure 147 from Pontefract is horrrendous alone with one single.

It sounds like the 147 could do with an express duplicate at times serving the most busiest stops on the route

Call it X47 or something

Well doing it as an Express route it would make sense to run with them stopping points and have it slip up the M62 from Jct32 to Jct 31 and then follow the 189 or 187/188 up to Normanton depending on direction busiest route and then follow either 189 route to Wakey or 147 route up by Pinders.

Personally I think the best route for it would be to do the SW1 route except continue to Altofts after Normanton Town Centre. Many people get off the 147 on QED estate, Dalefield and Fairway.

I think that would be good, use the M62 then up Castleford Road into Normanton and round through Altofts. Anyone for QED either gets the conventional 147 or walks from Normanton. Or run through Altofts first and then into Normanton and finish going through the QED

1307 and 1312 both on the 411/410 circuit. These Tempos just seem to be used as spare buses nowadays. It'd be interesting to see what will be the dupe bus on S68 this afternoon then.

1952 on 187, I'm sure they pulled it from the 189, as I think 1414 might have broke down. Makes sense for Arriva and well done to them to cancel a journey on a route that's every 10 minutes so a route that's hourly gets a bus even though it's 17 minutes late, it's Cas short working so starts from Cas not Ponty. According to Bus Times anyway it looks like they've done that. BTW that 2nd part isn't a sarcastic thing it's geniune Praise, if they have done that, which look like they have.

Quite a pair this morning and the first time I've seen it after it had its engine repaired! 1604 doing the main run whereas 1609 has also returned doing the dupe service both heading to New College Pontefract. 1814 doing the S76 and heading back and I believe YJ54 CEF for Ross Travel was doing P11 with a coach which is very interesting as I havent seen it do P11 since March before lockdown as they put 2 coaches for P11 and 1475 doing SW2.

You don't see that ever at all. Also 1307 on the S68 with 1472 doing main service

1311 doing the full 164 run to Selby this evening. Don't see Tempos on the full 164 very often.

Wakefield still has plenty of Lowlanders atm. 1603/04/06/07/08/09/11/13 and 1621. The only one that haven't been seen on the roads atm is 1621 which is getting fixed I believe and 1613 which is at Durham
