Is there not already the Cycle Superhighway between Bradford and Shipley along Valley Road, how many people do they think are going to cycle into Bradford?
I also look forward to the 20mph speed limit being enforced!

Before they do this scheme they should really improve Valley Road/Canal Road so through traffic can avoid manningham all together. I saw this scheme last year but don't know the current status www.google.com/amp/s/www.thetelegraphandargus.co.uk/news/18061930.amp/In my opinion valley Road/canal road ideally needs to be dual carriageway. But I don't see the funding ever being given for it

The intention is for all through traffic to use Canal Road. So the only traffic using Manningham Lane will be local traffic. Hence the reduced capacity. Think Bingley.
