Seemingly no longer available at 8 a.m. this morning! On website & available to book at 8.20 a.m. today but would depend if allocation for that service sold out. Checked same train on Monday 10p tickets available, Tuesday advance tickets only available at normal price.

I have a 10p ticket Leeds to Chester. Am I allowed to Board the train at Bramley or New Pudsey?

I have a 10p ticket Leeds to Chester. Am I allowed to Board the train at Bramley or New Pudsey? I would imagine so as u already paid from leeds as long as it's the same train u are booked on. We've done that in Batley when booked from leeds. Cos its northern u haven't reserved a seat either.

I have a 10p ticket Leeds to Chester. Am I allowed to Board the train at Bramley or New Pudsey? Technically according to the terms and conditions, no. Many Northern conductors won't have a problem with it though.

I have a 10p ticket Leeds to Chester. Am I allowed to Board the train at Bramley or New Pudsey? Officially, no. The T's & C's of Advance fares state that you must start from the origin station and finish at the destination station and cannot get on later or off earlier. In reality, would depend on the discretion of the conductor on the day. By rights, he/she could confiscate the tickets and make you buy new ones, but whether they'd want the hassle of doing so is another matter.

Tim, I took your advice and went from Bramley to Leeds. Luckily the ticket machine at Bramley was not working and the guard on the train was unable to get through the train to sell me a ticket. More good news at Leeds as the train to Chester was the same one I was on. So Bramley to Chester via Leeds and return will for 20p.

Tim, could have joined at Bramley as the Guard only asked passengers who wanted a purchase a ticket not to check the one I had.
