On the news this morning that Wrightbus is expected to go into administration today, with one week to find a buyer after talks last week collapsed.
With Eclipses, Geminis and their non-Volvo counterparts having been such a mainstay of the industry for nearly 20 years, this would once have been unthinkable, but over recent years there has been a huge shrinkage in the heavy bus market, and new Wright buses are a much less common sight than they once were.
How many companies have still for extant orders that will be at risk?

Off the top of my head:
- whatever was left of the First Leeds order (which apparently was never cancelled, just deferred until they fixed faults) - Go North East had 31 Streetdecks on order - Transdev Blazefield had five Streetdecks for CityZap (and a handful of Volvo/Wright 'deckers to top-up Harrogate and Coastliner ops) - Yorkshire Tiger were expecting six Streetlites for Flying Tiger work - Arriva Southern Counties were due 24 more Streetlites for Hemel Hempstead (four had recently been delivered), along with a batch of Streetdecks for Gillingham and, apparently, some Volvo B8RLE/Wright for Stevenage.
Then there were the hydrogen-powered 'deckers for Aberdeen (15) and Metroline (20).

A drone shot of the factory on the BBC News just now, showed loads of what looked like First Leeds streetdecks parked up, although these might be the alleged ‘cancelled’ order rather than some that are due to be delivered. At least two Go North East ‘X-lines’ buses could be seen as well.

If the full A.Y order, FWY Leeds order & Transdev Cityzap order have been completed then they should still be delivered as Cityzap upgrade is due anytime now and it has been reported elsewhere on the forum that the rest of A.Y's for 110 are due. The question is what's going to happen with all the Wrightbus products Arriva, First and Transdev etc have in rwgards to warranties and repairs

If not, then they become under the control of the administrator who will either sell them as part of the whole business, or piecemeal. The photo appeared to show about 50 deckers in the yard, of which half looked like Leeds vehicles. That's about £2m worth of buses.

50 double deckers will cost far more than 2 million.

50 double deckers will cost far more than 2 million. Sorry - and me a mathematician too! Let's say £10m approx.

First off feel sorry for the people who have lost their jobs,
This a guess regarding the buses at are still at the factory. The administrator will probably do a full inventory of everything in the plant to see what belongs to who before they can be released, they will need if they have been paid for. At the moment First,Arriva along all the other operators,Wright"s staff & anyone who are owned money, goods &/or services will be become creditors. I hope something can be sorted out & the the business can be saved.

A report from elsewhere in First (a First Bristol staff update who were waiting the cascade of the vehicles replaced by this delivery) indicates that 30 of the 50 deckers for First Leeds were completed and ready for delivery, so assuming they were paid for upfront by First their eventual arrival shouldn't take too long (if it was payment on delivery then it is more complicated as the administrators need to maximise revenue for creditors so the original customer may not end up the final destination if someone will pay more), assuming that the lack of warranties aren't an issue for First (I think when Transbus went down some vehicles were sold without warranties for reduced prices during the crisis). The remaining 20 were under construction at various stages of the production process so their fate is less clear as it would depend on whether production is restarted to clear stocks or not, on suggested staffing levels retained by the administrators that seems unlikely.

There's a photo on Facebook of Streetdeck 35600 which has arrived at Bramley with a grey top for use on the 4/16
