FirstDay Leeds - £4.30 FirstDay West Yorkshire - £4.90
Multiplying the 60p difference by 7 days gives you £4.20. However, FirstWeek Leeds - £15.50 FirstWeek West Yorkshire - £21.00 A difference of £5.50
But on Arriva Yorkshire, their Day West Yorkshire is £4.90 while the Week West Yorkshire is £19.00

I'm not sure of your point.

The difference between the price of the Weekly First Leeds and Weekly First West Yorkshire (£5.50) should surely not exceed or even reach the difference in price between seven separate FirstDay Leeds and FirstDay West Yorkshire tickets (£4.20)

I don't think there's any particular formula they should be using. If you want an odd one look at Keighley's KZone. If you buy online they're 5 for £12 making 7 £14.40. A weekly ticket saves just 90p on that.
