Are the cadets still around, haven't seen them for a while? They are. They normally appear on 195/196 or 117/481/446/444

There was an article in the Halifax Courier the other week about some emission compliance scheme, I'm assuming something is being retrofitted to the rear end, like they did with the 09 plate B9 school buses

That's the issue. Big single decks can't do the 188, due to the turning circle in Ferry Fryston Village or something? If Arriva do get streetlites keep them away from Castleford. I'd would like some Versa's or Solo SR's. I don't know if Eclipses are still being made, if they are, perhaps, they'd be good replacements for the commanders in a few years time maybe.

I love the ones Blackpool have got, but they are being withdrawn on Sunday. Weren't the ALX300's or ALX200's used on the 188, before the enviro 200's came and they're longer than the enviro 200's.

Not sure about ALX300 but for ALX200 i know 165-167 were used on it regular with the MPDs when they transfer from Selby as these were of a shorter variant and i believe the larger ALX200s that were bought for Yorkshire Woolen (branded as Yorkshire Buses at this stage) were also used on it

Only thing wrong with solos is that cannot be used in Leeds bus station & the e200s at cas often end up on the 410

I thought cas generally chucked anything they felt like on the 156/159?
