Hi there,
I find it a slightly odd situation that most buses are still not calling at the Springs Retail Park. Or is it something to do with the delays to the bridge? Just look at Middleton Asda and the amount of buses that take the much smaller diversion there.
I realise that First have exclusivity on the park but why doesn't the 19/19A call there? Surely people of Halton and Whitkirk would appreciate a direct service to their closest retail park rather than buses from Leeds every 15? Is it all due to the heavy delays to new shop openings?
Just wondering if there are plans to change this?

I get the reduction for the X26/7. Loadings are light still & given the number of new properties being built on the former Barnbow site, it's important for First to still have a presence there.
What I dont understand is the public. They'd rather get on a 56 than an X26/7 despite getting off at the same stop. Why would you want to spend an extra 15mins travelling?

Probably because 56 has been going for decades and know the route whereas X26/X27 only stops at certain stops and don't know exactly where it goes. Plus 56 is more frequent than X26/X27.
