Back in August 2017 when First retained the York P&R there was a promise of 20+ new electric buses to upgrade the service. I can't find any mention of them in a very recent FWY fleet list. Has the idea been quietly dropped.

There is a report that a number of Merc bendis will be heading to Bath, First West of England. Are all 15 bendis due to be replaced from York?

I was led to understand that six would be refurbished and remain at York for the Rawcliffe Bar P&R - the other nine going to Bath (subject to testing) would make sense, as the now-elderly B7LAs there on the heavily-trafficked UniBus work must now need replacing.

Optare report that the the first Metrodecker bus was delivered in January 2020, however the planned launch in the second quarter of 2020 was delayed by coronavirus COVID-19. Service launch has now been moved to the fourth quarter, with driver protection screens being sourced for installation in June.
