No not Streetdecks, Gemini 3 bodied Volvo's but I think everyone probably knew what I meant. I'm wondering if from a non-technical, regular person perspective there are any major exterior differences between the Streetdeck and the Gemini 3 (as in the 36 style one, not the historic oval-fronted style Gemini) The only things I've noticed are the Gemini 3 (well, at least Transdev's) has a very unique engine sound when it moves away from being stopped. Also, the Gemini 3 looks slightly wider and smaller in height than a Streetdeck which appears narrower and taller. The differences I've pointed out may even be slightly wrong but that's all I've noticed.

I would have through 3601 would be a prime candidate for preservation assuming the front can be readily changed back to its original form as it sparked a new standard of bus travel throughout the UK

Sorry if I have missed it but does any one know yet what the buses that used to do city zap and witch way will be used for? The old CityZap buses will probably be doing very little, they're 17 or 18 years old now and pretty knackered after a hard life, which is why their reliability has been poor. The old WitchWay buses are being cascaded, I think that HotLine is getting some of them but I'm not sure where the others are going. AireLine rings a bell, maybe? Thank you i didnt realise they where so old. Cant wait to try out the new ones

The presidents are much better suited as school buses. These Gemini’s have luxury leather seating with a 2+1 formation upstairs meaning a reduced seating capacity

Just seen on the bus times fleetlist that one of the new ZAP E400MMCs is Pride of the North, just wondering if this is right or wrong as it also said it was tracked on the 464 in mid-November.

Also, I wonder if the ZAPs will ever get custom plates again like they did on the Geminis and even the Manchester ZAP

The ticket machine was on a bus operating the 464 but the E400MMC was not, bus times relies on the correct information being entered onto the ticket machine, if the machine is swapped without the vehicle information being changed then you get garbage in and garbage out:-) According to the WYIS Transdev fleetlist one of the York buses is in Pride of the North livery www.wyis.org.uk/

Might it even be 'travel unravelled/transdev go' like most buses are put into nowadays instead of POtN? Shame about the lack of pics of the new CityZAP E400s, got a picture of all but three of the Witchways but only one CityZAP has pictures, including a very nice one on the A64 near Tadcaster.

Engine noise will be but visually there will be next to no difference (I don't think there is a noticeable difference in width & height but not 100% so stand to be corrected), there are different versions such as lowheight options but they are available on both models. The difference is the Streetdeck is an integral with a Mercedes engine whilst the Gemini 3 is a body on a Volvo B5TL chassis (hence the engine note difference) though that difference in base may result in minor visual differences that someone more observant than myself may be able to spot around the engine bay & ride height for instance.

Anyone know what's happened to 2753 / ZVZ? It's been out of use since end of October according to bustimes and there's usually a POtN Gemini or the occasional President put on in its place

Contrary to my earlier post according to bustimes it appears 2753 is out today for the first time in almost two months, however 2751 has been out of use since Tuesday

The partial fleet renumbering took effect from 22nd November, but on BusTimes, only 7 have so far appeared in their new guises. I presume the vehicles have their new numbers but maybe the ticket machines have not been changed?

Pics of 2 of the Solos for Rossendale Rovers which are 2 that had been drafted in a while ago. Those are two of four M8900SRs acquired from Dawson Rentals this month, the others being YD63UZP and YD63UZU and according to the WYIS fleetlist are based at Burnley. The only other Solos still in the Rosso fleet are a couple of Rochdale based former Rossendale M880s YJ54UXT and YJ05JWK.

WYIS have reported that 1525 from Rosso and 1531/3 from Burnley have returned to Blackpool. The remaining 3 at Rosso are to stay until Easter. WYIS have included at the top of the Transdev fleetlist, a new paragraph 'What's new in this update?'.

They borrowed it for half a day. Drove it to a few spots took some photos. Then did a press release saying it was a trial !
Honestly the spin at this company is unbelievable but people are starting to see through it looking at their Twitter account ( that is until they remove the tweet and block them !! )

Honestly the spin at this company is unbelievable but people are starting to see through it looking at their Twitter account ( that is until they remove the tweet and block them !! ) In as nice a way as possible, Alex Hornby is running the company to his tastes. People get blocked just for complaining that all the liveries look the same (the two-toned with a diagonal line). People were blocked for saying they wished the new Witchway had a more witch looking witch on it, someone said 'looks like someone can't take criticism' about him.

I was blocked for asking why a bus failed to run to the company directly in a polite way !
By default i was automatically blocked from AH account !
I wonder how many accounts he has blocked on his account !
