They like to censor this site. Any criticism of anything and the comments go. The press photos are all over the net, and no doubt when there is a conviction, that will be reported too.
The press photos are amusing - "Harrogate Fast" it says on the side display - Not half! "Back to Bus" it says on the front display - No thanks!

The press photos are amusing - "Harrogate Fast" it says on the side display - Not half! "Back to Bus" it says on the front display - No thanks! Firstly, it isn't a court. Secondly, it's not the press. Thirdly, the admins would like to avoid any possible legal actions aimed at them in this day and age where everything said about anybody could lead to them being sued as well as the person saying it. And for my final point, no offence but who are you? All your posts are about this accident, or at least most of them, and it's all negative stuff aimed at the driver, sorry but I'm very suspicious at your motives as it's just strange that you've never posted here until that crash.

What "legal actions"? It is perfectly allowable to criticise. It's Northern England, not North Korea. Look up the "fair comment" defence. How otherwise would other forums which allow criticism, or newspapers and other media and commentators be able to operate?
I've posted about a few things on his site, long before this crash but you have to be very selective in who and what you criticise otherwise the comments disappear. Some sections and companies are allowed to be criticised, others are not. It's like dealing with Donald Trump, very thin skinned. That is why there are pages and pages of members, but hardly any posts per day. It's too regimented.
It is absolutely permissible to comment on the actions of a supposed professional driver who ended up with his bus across a pavement, buried in the front of a newsagents, and with a street sign speared into the side of it.
No doubt this post will be censored too.

Is there a separate forum for Team Pennine or not?
I hardly see the point in posting everything twice, its hardly a massive forum

You've basically decided the driver is at fault on a public forum without posting any actual proof, although the driver hasn't been named on here, supposing the driver is actually known by some on this forum (many guests on here) and from your postings they come to the conclusion he's already guilty and this affects his personal life. There could be serious implications both for yourself for posting without proof, and for the moderators for allowing the posts.

Mr Hornby just posted a photo of demo E-Citaro MB21 BUS (albeit the front) to his instagram story. The interesting thing is that it looks to be in Keighley Green colours.

Are you sure it’s not just green because it’s a ‘green’ bus

With the Bradford clean air zone coming into force soon, what will Keighley use on the 662 and 67 at busy periods? Can the B7TLs can be upgraded to meet euro 6 standards? Of course the only B9s they have are branded.

Of course the only B9s they have are branded. Transdev have been trialing electric single deck buses for both the 1 (Harrogate-Knaresborough) and the 662. Chances are, the Eclipses from the 1 (which I imagine would be CAZ compliant given their 90% less Nitrous Oxide promotion) could be brought in for routes like the 67.

Could easily do a swap and use a B7 in place of a B9 on the 60, with the B9 then used on the busier 662 journeys, e.g. the football ones.

I was meaning more along the lines of double deckers on busy days and Bradford City match days etc..

Maybe some of the newer B7TLs have been upgraded? The Gemini’s rather than the Presidents probably?

I'm not sure it needs to go that far lol, lots of branded buses get put on different routes all the time if necessary and the 60 has seen many a B7 on it of late, I've personally been on 3 B7s over the past few months.

Not sure what you mean. The B7s that are on it regularly are in standard Keighley livery and not branded for anything... They'd sooner cancel a trip than put an Aireline B9 on the 662 for example. Branding misallocations at Transdev are very rare; strict orders from the top.

They would cancel a trip because the route branded bus isn't available even though they could run it with an unbranded bus. Is that what your saying? If that is so then that's incredibly stupid. An unbranded bus covering for a branded bus on a route, that's not a big deal at all. No, I'm saying that if the only thing available was an Aireline/ Dalesway B9 they would sooner cancel it. Nothing to do with unbranded buses.

That's ridiculous, if Transdev actually does that, then they deserve any criticism their way. T If Arriva only had a e200mini for the 110 available, they would still run it, regardless of how busy it gets. No sympathy for transdev if they do that. A bus is a bus at the end of the day. Does the public actually care if an Aireline, or Dalesway B9 shows up on the wrong route. People on this forum regularly do and have a rant often when a Mini E200 turns up on a peak time 110

Could make sense to Euro 6 convert at least 2757 if not the rest of the B7s,after it's refurbishment earlier this year. Both West Midlands & London have seen operators E6 convert B7s so probably not too much of a leap to see it happen in West Yorks.

A few years ago, there was a document leaked from the trade unions of Transdev, and it did speculate that it does happen. If it still does is another story.
