Will admit to not being totally savvy with railways, but perhaps an expert on here can help me. I believe that the BPN to York services now start at Preston. However, on several occasions recently on facebook sites I look at, there has been mention of these running through to BPN and vice versa. Yet when I look on National Rail Enquiries nothing comes straight through and you have to change at Preston. Infact one site only today quoted a York to BPN arrival 2200, also saying that it will start at BPN the day after

576 Halifax to Bradford via Boothtown Road and Queensbury. 508 Halifax to Leeds via Odsal Top and Dudley Hill. 237 Halifax to Sheffield via Huddersfield, Penistone, Chapeltown, 564 Hubberton via King Cross and Sowerby Bridge, 506 West End via Royal Infirmary ,and Savile Park, 505 West End via Pellon and Savile Park, 577 Halifax General Hospital to Bradford via Shelf and Northowram

During the week, the service generally runs as Blackpool North to Preston with electric vehicles and Preston to Leeds with diesels.
The 2200 from Leeds goes through to Blackpool, whilst the 0519 from Blackpool also goes through.
On Sundays the service goes from York to Blackpool North. Except when there's engineering work.

But generally the ones from Preston only stop at Church Fenton and York after Leeds and vv. The Selby and York stoppers will become standalone services in general rather than come from Manchester as currently happens this is to utilise the 170s on them
