Loads of buses are parked in the Honley depot, presumably all the withdrawn stock, including some double decks and old Flying Tiger Omnicities. Loads of withdrawn Tiger buses parked at Belle Isle depot too ! What appears (I think) to be an accident damaged Tiger Blue Omnicity has turned up within the last few days to join the ever increasing demic line. Will check later. Penfold

Must be, the reg & fleet number are right but it was a bit dark at the back of Belle Isle at 4am this morning to pay any particular attention to the paintwork lol ! Penfold

I wouldn't be disappointed if come September Yorkshire Tiger is wound up. Waterloo, former Yorkshire Traction depot, could join the main Arriva Yorkshire operation, while Elland (and any residual operation at Idle) could be sold to HCT-CT Plus or TLC.

Can’t see that happening , the Tiger fleet is nowhere near up to standard for a normal Arriva fleet - it would take a lot of investment .

Not to mention the Tiger operation runs on a completely different cost base to the Arriva operation.

How far from Halifax is the Waterloo depot at Huddersfield?.
Only asking as T J Walsh used to serve Halifax and the surrounding area`s and from what i`ve read CT Plus appear to have been awarded or taken on some of the former TJ Walsh routes and were looking into finding a depot in Brighouse. So also with that in mind, is Brighouse closer to Halifax than Huddersfield?.
And yeh Transdev have now secured the Flying Tiger route`s from September 2020...Arriva didn`t want them anymore..But i do know that the people that run LBA arnt keen on decker`s at the airport due to people carrying suitcases...Which does make sense..So it`ll have to be where possible a single deck operation..

Brighouse is in between both Huddersfield & Halifax. CT Plus have announced on Friday the services they've won from TLC but again some of the TJ Walsh routes would be better run by TLC's Todmodern Depot or even the Brighouse depot they have.
