I'm assuming that this is addition to First's existing 301/302 evening/Sunday service, as both Upcoming timetables on the Metro website has evening/Sunday journeys with Tiger's 301 Monday-Saturday evening (no Sunday evening service) departures at timed to run 10 minutes before First's. Tiger's Sunday service is hourly, running in between First's 301/302 half-hourly service. Looking at other Upcoming timetables on the Metro website, it looks like the 20A in Halifax is a combination of the current 20 and 513/514 services, with 20/20A forming a 20 minute frequency between Halifax and Rye Lane with an hourly extension to Wainstalls, some of those journeys continuing as service 24 back to Halifa via Mixenden. Presumably the 20A will therefore have to do a double run the full length of Rye Lane on its way to/from Wainstalls. No, it could use Silverwood Avenue (near the top of Rye Lane) to get back on to Moor End Road, in fact Silverwood Avenue is a timing point on the new timetable.

The Squarepeg 9 service will now continue to operate on Saturdays but to a reduced frequency with longer gaps between journeys. Not sure if this is simply a change of heart or due to Metro funding.

Oops! First couple of journeys will have specially-strengthened front ends to smash through the bollards, lol! What about Ryecroft Lane, they could use that which would be a little bit shorter than going back down to Sandbeds. No? Still a bit of a detour for the Wainstalls passengers, though!

Stops AFAIK are WBS., Kirkgate, Park Street, Agbrigg Corner, Warmfield Meter (Crossley Street), Snydale, Normanton Police Station, New housing estate just before Glasshougten, Asda and then all stops in J32. Usual conditions apply and subject to change Sent from Samsung S7 by Penfold on the road. Reading an article in the Ponte and Cas today about the X32 and it’s interesting how they are using the data from their journey planning app to identify new routes. With it calling at Asda/College, I wonder if it will see and end to the 183?

Isn't the 183 already over with the closure of Mtravel?

Isn't the 183 already over with the closure of Mtravel? A limited service is still run by CT Plus for Wakefield College.

I think 23mins from Leeds to Gildersome is gonna be fun at evening peak time, when, it comes off 621 at j27, round the bottom roundabout to come up and down A62, to Branch End

Although J27 can be a busy place even at quieter times.

Not mentioned in the thread by Faz2105, regarding the time change to Tiger 301's is, they will also be doing Evenings and Sunday service I'm assuming that this is addition to First's existing 301/302 evening/Sunday service, as both Upcoming timetables on the Metro website has evening/Sunday journeys with Tiger's 301 Monday-Saturday evening (no Sunday evening service) departures at timed to run 10 minutes before First's. Tiger's Sunday service is hourly, running in between First's 301/302 half-hourly service. It’s not often you get a new evening and Sunday service which is presumably commercial! Looks like Tiger are trying to get more market share on Golcars with this and the recent frequency increases. They need to engage the drivers though, far too often do they sit on the back wall while the First service loads up, only to drive up at the last moment, pick hardly anyone up, and then end up leaving a few minutes before the First bus. It’ll be the old relaxed K-Line ways.

Can Metro technically scrap the tender with there now being a commercial service alongside it?

Assuming the entire evening service is tendered, then yes the tender should be scrapped.
A lot of evening buses on core routes were made commercial during those area bus reviews a few years back though, so it may be the case that only the last few journeys are tendered. (Like the ones Tiger do on the 321, 579 etc)

yes the 22 is tendered, the recent reduction to the service is because of a reduction in the tender that Metro pay.

Going back to service 20A Halifax-Wainstalls, and purely from looking at the timetables, it would seem that Wainstalls now has two buses to Halifax at 07:15 on a weekday morning: the first 20A run via Rye Lane, or a journey on the 512 operating direct to Halifax. Can this 20A journey be carrying many passengers on the Wainstalls to Rye Lane section?

"Discriminatory" service change.... to stop buses getting jammed behind inconsiderably parked cars. It's not like First have done it deliberately is it! Getting a complete a joke how nowadays any change that someone doesn't like is 'discrimination'.

Getting a complete a joke how nowadays any change that someone doesn't like is 'discrimination'. I’ve driven my car ( Seat Ibiza) on Chesnut Avenue, in Hyde Park, with Parked cars on both sides, (some with mirrors out) as a driver I have to give way to traffic coming the other way. So how the 56 running every 10 minutes both ways gets up there that’s a surprise. I can see why the bus runs one way. Around Hyde park road/Victoria Road. Although the bad bit is the bus can snarl on Hyde park road on an evening because of the Hyde Park Corner junction,
