Yes it is 69374 going into Rider York livery. That’ll be an interesting liberty similar to 37674 but with the post 1995 Badgerline style output. Slighty off topic but, First West of England are repainting their Weston-Super-Mare depot fleet into green and yellow complete with Badgerline branding.

I wonder how this will turn out on a York Eclipse, that’ll be interesting,

If 37029 is anything to go by there isn’t any room left for any specific route branding, the HD Connect” takes up the whole space

Interesting, I wasn’t expecting that version, I thought it was going to be the 1996 version.

Re 69374 Only my opinion, but the green looks too low original livery use to go round the YR logo at the back, where as this just goes underneath it.

In my opinion the "Yorkshire Rider" livery is a 100% improvement on the current First Group corporate offering.

The later scania had the low green and the red stood above rather then inside the green as earlier single decks had. Sent from my SM-G930F using proboards

If they are going on the 301/302 Golcar circulars, they should have ordered the Max version instead.

Interesting pic of 69374 it does look like when old YR Scania’s L113 Striders 8401 - 8405 had their brief York Livery before the Superbus era to join the N113 Striders in Leeds And also can we get a single deck Eclipse painted in Superbus Livery now I did expect the 1995/1996 post Badgerline Livery.

69374 has lost its rider york fleet name already (well of the front and gained a first logo instead also now has small numbers)

69374 has lost its rider york fleet name already (well of the front and gained a first logo instead also now has small numbers) Apparently a senior manager has kicked off about the heritage buses, the York one getting First decals so not to confuse customers, the Leeds ones due for repaint soon has been decreed will be painted back into standard livery.

It really is quite sad that people like him exist! The biggest mistake made by all the groups was getting rid of the local identity, liveries and names are brand the same as the cans on a shelf marked Heinz, it’s a shame this was forgotten in the zeal to be big and corporate. The return of many local identities and the goodwill generated by them (getting rid of bland boring meaningless names in the process) and subsequent regeneration of depots and networks should tell them something. Go Ahead and Transdev have never subscribed to “all the same” and it’s done them no harm where as all 3 big groups First, Arriva and Stagecoach have lost countless thousands as networks and companies have failed. it really is quite amusing that after 20 years Yorkshire Rider is still referred to by people waiting for a bus on the street.

Furthermore, in Nottingham both large operators - Nottingham City Transport and Trent Barton - have much route branding in different colours. Yet Nottingham is one of the least car-dependent cities in Britain.
