To confirm some observations in the Spotted threads, a few recent moves and updates: 1480 Dewsbury to Wakefield 1815 Selby Pool to Wakefield
703/23 are the last two Spectras allocated to Wakefield, but others remain in pool fleet in use at Wakefield/Castleford
1601/2/3/4/6/10 all 06 reg Lowlanders at Heckmondwike, 1600 last one at Castleford, 1607/8/9/11/12/13 all remain at Selby.
1476 is now branded and USB/Wifi equipped as an extra Frequenta spare bus
1546 is away for refitting as a spare bus for 110 and should return soon, as an extra bus is required for the new timetable starting on Monday

1002, 1003 and 1016 currently on loan to Tiger at Wombwell, 1627 has moved from Heckmondwike to Wombwell too. Probably explains some of the loans and Spectras still in use at Wakefield.

Presumably 1546 will be painted into new Sapphire (like 1964 etc) and the E400s follow it?

I wonder if it has been painted dark blue inside like the Pulsar Sapphires on the 130!
Would it not have made sense to refurb an older 58 reg E400 from Heckmondwike (or even Dewsbury 15 reg one) and send 1546 the other way to replace, repainting at the same time? It would have maintained the 110 with a single vehicle type?
MAX routes operated from Dewsbury and Heckmondwike depots are of mixed vehicle type anyway (268 due to existence of both branded E400s and Geminis and other routes often mixed type due to both types of bus in "Spare bus" livery at both depots or general mis-allocations).
The Gemini (especially low bridge) seems to have a much slimmer top deck appearance than E400, meaning that use of types of bus stands out.

The fact it is in a completely different livery, with probably no prospect of the originals following suite anytime soon, probably makes it stand out in any case! Even though its just been done as a stand alone job, its still got the old Sapphire logo on the seats!

Yeah wyb... even the 163/6s have old Sapphire logo on seats and screens.
I think the new Sapphire livery makes the buses much more recognisable as Arriva vehicles.
The new liveries look as though they are easier to apply too. Compare with First which doesn't look like it uses vinyls other than for the Fleet names.

Managed to take a ride on 1546. Very impressed with the interior revamp and that they've done to the effort of doing the walls dark blue, like on the Pulsars refurbed for the 130. Really good job.
A little surprised that the fleetnumber is stuck in the front windscreen on a printed sheet of A4 paper. With "fleetnumber 1546". Don't the depots keep number transfers anymore? Although perhaps they only have yellow/aquamarine ones in stock and want to wait for the white ones to avoid spoiling the appearance. Full width back destination made it jump out!

Indeed, when on a MAX E400 on route 203 2 weeks ago I noticed a 126/127 MAX Gemini heading the other way on either route 202 or 203.

Arriva Wakefield 1535 currently parked on layover area at Selby Bus Station. Perhaps a swap given 1815 has recently come the other way as reported above. Just seen 1815 on 425 in Morley. Ironic, then similar age (to 1535 now) West Riding Olympian 535 was at Selby 30 years ago having moved from Castleford or Wakefield in it's infancy! The last Olympian in delivery NBC poppy red. 1535 one of the few AY Geminis still in delivery livery, having been based at Dewsbury (originally branded for 126/127 I think), Belle Isle twice and Heckmondwike.

Spectras 706 & 708 are back in service at Dewsbury (allocated to pool fleet) to cover for repaints.
Current pool fleet consists: - 706 - in use at Dewsbury - 708 - in use at Dewsbury - 1621 - in use at Heckmondwike - 1625 - in use at Dewsbury
1604 has recently had retrimmed (moquette) seats during a visit to Derby for routine specialist work. 1602/ 1610 also receiving the same work. Generally this batch (including the ones at Selby) are being retrimmed as they are worked upon at varying locations (1604/08/09/12/13 all confirmed done, 1607 also assumed done)
