Exactly and is perfectly placed for Rail replacement and they'd also be able to run the Wakefield based routes from there eventually.

The Gomersal site is now used by Caledonian Travel & Fourways - both being associated with Procter, Leeming Bar. Can't see York Pullman being there as well.

Depends if the price is right and space is available, Procter won't turn down a bit of additional income in these times and Pullman may come up with a viable rental price.

Exactly apart fron either Tower Coaches Yard or the old Bus & Coach site. The only other possible options are either the industrial yard on St. Peg Lane at the bottom of Spen Bank or the other is heading out towards Chain Bar.

All a firm needs for a vehicle or two is hard standing ground. Whether that be a storage yard, breakers or haulage firm. Heck, even TLC were in Bowling Back Lane back in the day.
They wouldn't go & purchase/lease a massive bit of ground for a small contract & the odd bit of rail here & there like some suggest.

Chances are, they wouldn't get permission for the St Peg Lane vacant lane, without a time restriction being included, ie only allowed between 0700 - 2200, any working outside of those times would be reported by the residents opposite. The Gomersal site of the old ABC is perfect

Some drivers are good at reversing, others can't keep straight when reversing.

Some drivers are good at reversing, others can't keep straight when reversing. It's been a while. So again it's back to the old ABC sharing with Fourway and Caledonian Travel as that's only place for coaches really without massive restrictions.

But it's not the only place. You're just looking for places already attached to coaches. It can be parked up absolutely anywhere. Could even be a farm for all anyone knows.

There’s usually a York Pullman coach by Cleckheaton Town Hall when I pass on the morning 256 at 0655.

I passed it between Cleckheaton and Chain Bar a few days ago, using a low floor single, and desti showed 'Askham Bryham College' (scrolling across underneath) Cleckheaton, Morley, Beeston and some other places

That’s a bit of a commute for the students. Didn’t realise it was for that college.

That’s a bit of a commute for the students. Didn’t realise it was for that college. Askham Bryan is a specialist college that offers courses that very few other colleges do. The more niche the curriculum, the further you have to be prepared to travel. But yes, with several buses having a journey time of well over 1½ hours, it is definitely a bit of a commute!
