Anyway, back to the new buses...
70 plate buses in use on the 1st September, that’s a rare event
The only issue is the interior, whether it’s the seats or the moquette, it gives off the feel of an access bus, and that the services are only for the use of pensioners

This is one of my least-known operators in the area. A few routes could be interesting such as 348, 357 or X49. It's just a pity that the 357 appears not to stop in Ashton bus station. www.southpenninect.co.uk/busservices.html

Don't know what's going on at South Pennine but the usual standards regarding timetable and service change publicity have slipped a lot. The website has also been down for a couple of weeks as well, with the message 404 error displaying for each area such as timetables. The last lot of changes (except the 26) were not notified on Twitter, and the 241, which is due a significant timetable change in early June, so far has also not been publicised. For those not yet in the know, going by bus times this is due to become a circular numbered X41 from Huddersfield out to Lepton, Houses Hill, Grange Moor, then back via Lepton to Huddersfield with different times to the current 241. You'd think they'd notify people of this rather big change.

Not having timetables available sounds very like a bus company that doesn't want passengers. It seems to be 3 weeks since they moved. That should be enough time to upload a few timetables - if not, perhaps it was a bad time to change them.

That's weird, where did that site come from? I've typed in the actual address and it comes up with the old site even though it's the exact address used for the site posted.

Your browser has probably cached the old site - left to its own devices, it can take as much as 48 hours for a cached page to be refreshed. Try going to the site and then using Ctrl-F5.

Ah, that works, many thanks, proud to say don't know anything about technology and it clearly shows lol. Are South Pennine part of HCT by any chance? They have recently launched a day ticket for a fiver that can be used on all their network, and on Powells/CT Plus as well.

Believe they are support by HCT as a couple of the South Pennine drivers covered CT Plus' last trips on 341 and 377/378 towards the end of last year.

So as well as taking on 514 & 532 on temporary basis for Team Pennine, South Pennine are also taking on the 58 & M92 services in Sheffield too for Stagecoach.
So in summary as of Monday 27th Spetember service 514 joins South Pennine from Team Pennine and Services 58 & M92 joins from Stagecoach alongside service 532 which joined them on Monday 13th September from Team Pennine. The 4 routes will have stick to original operators prices/ticketing too;
