Can anyone remember all the Fastaway and other limited stop services that used to run in West Yorkshire
There's only really the X6 & X84 that are still going, but there used to be many more

201-203 were as all stops had fastaway around them. Wasn't that because of the parallel Fastaway service, I think numbered X20 or X22?

I'm not sure about those services but I'm certain that the fastaway signs were along (almost) all the stops on the 201-203 route, even on the parts of the route not served by all three services, such as in Mirfield. So I presume it was for 201-203?
I totally have no idea what the X20 X22 routes were, it could be for them either end.
Someone might want to correct me !

I have now checked and it was the X22, an hourly limited stop service mirroring the 201-203 routes. In later life it was reduced to peak hours only, I believe.
To answer the original question of this post, some Leeds based Fastaway services which existed at one point or another were:
X2 Leeds-Garforth (still exists in the form of peak time 18A extensions) X3 Leeds-Otley X4/X14 Leeds-Ledston Luck-Micklefield X6 Leeds-Huddersfield (still exists) X10 Leeds-Middleton-East Ardsley X11 Leeds-Pudsey (still exists) X16 Leeds-Seacroft X19/X21/X22 Leeds-Huddersfield X23/X24 Leeds-Halifax X24 Leeds-Whinmoor X25 Leeds-Swarcliffe X30 Leeds-Ilkley X35 Leeds-Alwoodley (still exists) X52/X53/X55 Leeds-Pontefract/Ferry Fryston X56 Leeds-Whinmoor X83/X84 Leeds-Skipton (still exists) X93/X96 Leeds-Cookridge/Tinshill (X96 still exists)

Black Prince had the X49 and X51, although they only touched the M621 for a couple of minutes, similar to the current 51/51A service which First Leeds operate.

Black Prince's X49 and X51 were not Fastaway services hence my exclusion of them from the list. Yorkshire Rider's 53 also used to run along the motorway but equally this didn't make it a Fastaway route.

I realised this already, I was just listing a couple of the X services I could remember.

Which services were operated by West Riding Group's Fastaway liveried Tigers, Leopards and coach seated Olympians? Was it all of their 'X' routes, only certain 'X' routes or a variety of services? Did any other company operate Fastaway liveried buses? Also I wonder why they used the Italian flag for the logo!

Was there ever a Fastway Limted stop service between Leeds and Halifax(Peak Times). I know about the X25 but what about the 508 route. X508 route run by B7TL'S running limted stop along the 576 route then joins onto the X6 route. Would only run at peak times(IDEA)

Picked up at all stops.

Bradford Traveller: The night bus you mentioned was the 950, which ran between Halifax, Bradford and Leeds, for some bizarre reason unknown to man.
As far as the ideas of the X508 go, aren't we duplicating this in another post (with a more sensible service number suggestion of X8).

I remember two Fastaway routes; the X22 was a direct service from Leeds to Huddersfield via Dewsbury and Mirfield, operated by Yorkshire and Yorkshire Traction. It was eventually withdrawn, with only peak time Yorkshire Traction "Fastlink" services. The X26 operated between Wakefield and Huddersfield via Ossett, Dewsbury and Huddersfield and was even extended to Manchester at one point before being withdrawn completely.
Incidentally, does anyone remember "Yorkshire London Link", a London service operated by Yorkshire Woollen District?

If you look we have already discussed the X20/X22. I don't remember the X26 nor do i remember the Yorkshire London Link.

The Bradford-Manchester-Trafford Centre service was the M60 which ran via the 576 route from Bradford to Halifax. The X67 ran one journey from Silsden to Bradford Mon-Fri morning with the return being around teatime. There was also for a short time a X20 from Bradford to Tong around 1994.
