AY MPD 216 was on 126/7 earlier What time did you see this? As the 18:00 working from Dewsbury is usually worked by an E200 whilst a Gemini does a return trip on the 212(Don't really get the working either) It's because the 205 arrives at 1755 and the 212 departs at 1755, so they can't link together like they normally would. Instead they swap with a bus on the 126/127, so the Gemini does the 1755 212 and the E200 does the 1800 127. Used to be different as a 202/203 used to run off at 1730 so could get involved, but no buses on that service now run off this early

Arriva Dewsbury based 126/7 branded Gemini 1532 seen heading towards Wakefield down Doncaster Road at Oakenshaw.
Could explain why one of the Polaris DAF's was on 126/7 earlier today

A Tiger SB200 Centro must have been having some problems last night, as it was recovered by Bridge Garage in Wakefield about 11:00 last night. I wouldn't have wanted to be the one driving a Peterbilt with a bus on the back, whilst avoiding the drunkards of Wakefield on a Friday night!

AY gemini 1548 on the 126/7 today. Has it transferred from Heckmondwike? Unlikely since Heckmondwike have a number of spare buses available on a Saturday, it was covering a Dewsbury working when I saw it in Wakefield Olympus 1813 was on 126/7 as well. The summer holiday period when the schools are out does tend to throw up one or two unlikely sightings. Belle Isle had correctly branded 1525 and 1527 plus 110 branded 1519 on the 126/7, while 1528 was pressed into service on 110 at lunchtime

Alternatives to the usual on the 268 today have been 654, 695 and 1195. 1195! That nine is so close to the zero! It was of course 1105. Today 1612 was on the 268.

It looks like you've all missed seeing a 61plate double decker, decked out with white ribbons for a Private Hire ferrying guests to the Wedding of Heckmondwike's General Manager. 1529 was the vehicle chosen, which may explain 1548 being on 126/7.

Wonder why 1529 was the chosen bus, is it because 1529 is fitted with a Tacho or was it done in secret out of the way at Cut End

Possibly the former, because I know that Heckmondwike General Manager asked a Heckmondwike driver to drive it, so, he already knew one was booked, maybe it was the Company who then decided to dress it up.

Saw a forward entrance Routemaster going up High Street, Heckmondwike this morning and heading for Batley. Could it be related?

Several AY E200's have been on the 111's Pinderfields shuttle due to AY 3044 Solo due its MOT.
AY E200 1012 made several trips to Bradford after replacing overheating Spectra 707 earlier this afternoon.
