Yorkshire Tiger seem to have adopted First's habit of sending repainted vehicles straight back out in service bereft of any markings or brandings etc. Wouldn't be so bad if they could at least reapply the fleet no's first. They've just no consideration for us Travel West Yorkshire poster's, have they?.

The repaints seems to be a slow process and as stated there seems to be a lot coming out in just plain orange with no 'tiger' markings. Wouldn't it make sense just to get it done all at once instead of having the bus travel back for the markings put on. It does look good though I must say, very striking.

Since the markings are almost certainly vinyls rather than paint they can be applied almost as easily at the depot, and if they are being supplied and fitted by another party it may even be cheaper to get a number painted and then get them out at the weekend to do them all at once, not saying they are being that logical just that it is a possible scenario.

Im assuming Solo 335 is X235 MBJ. Not only are most repaints without vinyl's, they're also missing fleet no's.

Surely they can't take too long to apply. Maybe the ones they had were just for the press launch or they were sampled ones til their new ones arrive. Maybe similar to First with their "LEEDS" names taken a while to come. Sent from my GT-N7100 using proboards

Noticed an all-over orange ALX400. X---NNO heading through Pudsey towards Leeds (out of service) no vinyls or visible fleet no's. It looked so clean, my first thought was it had just left the paintshop and was on it's way back to depot.

i would have thought its obvious why they are not gaining vinyls with the OFT investigation into the take over, when that's cleared then they would be lettered up. . . . . .

If that's the case then, Why are some vehicle's already adorned with the new company branding's/vinyl's ?. Also why go to the expense of repainting them. Surely if your theory is correct, then they would have been left in original livery (albeit devoid of last operator's name) until OFT clearance (prob just a formality) is received.

More than likely they were branded prior to any OFT announcement, I think they were actually branded at Belle Isle (Arriva Marketing supported scheme) in readiness prior to the Tiger launch
