I have already seen 67401 and 67406 on route 22. I should ride one towards the end of July.
I think First Manchester are due to receive 30 E300s and 20 Streetlites this year.

"These Enviro 400s in the south west. Bolton Depot have been told to except them in the next 12 weeks as this will displace 9 Bolton B9s off to Bury. Who will then send 9 citaros to OM. They are still going ahead with shifting citaros due to how expensive maintenance and genuine parts are for these. So it's not an option that they stay at Bury Oldhams exsisting citaros continue to be linked with a move to Yorkshire.
As always info is gained from a Bolton Depot Employee"

Dunno, if this is the right thread to be asking this, But whilst at Hollingworth Lake earlier today, I noticed E400 33687?. on service 456. Is this now regular?. Because i can only recall ever seeing single-deckers(Darts or Solos) on this route. Just thought id ask.

I can't imagine it being a regular allocation, as it probably would have been a tight squeeze going around Wardle with an E400, so I would say no. Solos and Darts are usually used on the 455/456/458 services. Had it not been school holidays, I would have suggested that it could have been on the school service 456. Meanwhile, it's been reported that two B7TLs have arrived from Rotherham at Bury depot (30879/80).

Would have to say that size wise on the ground the E400 is probably not much bigger than a Dart or Solo.

I think Finglands (& Whittles) are pretty much left to do as they want, with little interference from Hull.

Looks like this is First's response to Stagecoach taking over Bluebird. Should it be cleared in time, it'll set First up nicely for the uni student market in the autumn.

i though stagecoach would have got them Don't think OFT/MMC would allow that, as they were the only real competition to Stagecoach on the University corridor.
