Have not seen the last three B6/Spryte's at Waterloo for a few weeks now.(1 go-green, 2 HBC livery). It would be nice to think they've joined the others at Leicester/Grantham or wherever and the three Omnilinks are to replace them.

The Solar's arrived at Waterloo in September. The last three Volvo B6's were still operational from Waterloo early to mid-December.

I'm not aware that the Solars were ever going to be leaving Huddersfield, I was always told it would be 3 Scanias from Leeds going down as Saxby only needed 3 bigger vehicles (watch them do the overly complicated swap now just to prove me wrong). And as I feared Solar 749 has today been reported in service from Saxby going against what I was told would happen by engineering (and some operational logic). Not sure how many of the batch are going south as they only need 3 and I was only told 3 would be moving but I was also told it wouldn't be these vehicles involved so I'm not making anymore definitive statements until they actually move.

I reckon 749-750 will go as they are part of a batch. 748 will stay as it is not the same age/chassis. Thats only a guess anyway!

From the above posts it would appear Centro (YJ07 JSX) is only on loan/ hired in to cover for 721 which has sustained some kind of accident damage. Having only glimpsed it briefly, Is it a Lwb like HBC's or Swb like K-Line's?.

I reckon 749-750 will go as they are part of a batch. 748 will stay as it is not the same age/chassis. Thats only a guess anyway! 748 has the same chassis as the rest but is a year and a bit older (ex-demo rather than new), but this now means that Waterloo has another non-standard vehicle in its allocation. I would have thought it would have made more sense to move the 3 OmniLinks to Leicestershire where all the rest of the examples of the type in the company are and leave the 3 Solars with the remaining example of the batch in Yorkshire were all the examples in the company of that body type are based (bar 1 in Kimes), but what do I know, I'm a scheduler not an engineer - I assume this makes some sort of sense to someone, somewhere.

Haven't seen 751 for a while so I'm guessing it's the second solar to leave HBC
