I don't know exactly how bus allocation works, but does it really matter if the wrong bus is allocated? I mean if a branded bus is parked at the back of the yard, doesn't it make more sense to use the bus parked at the front, regardless of branding, if it means the driver can leave on time? Especially if its just as fit for use. I'm not saying we don't need this thread (after all, its kind of the backbone of the forum!) but I personally don't think any less of a company for doing this, its not that typical.

First York had a Sivler P&R B7RLE heading out towards Bradford this morning on the ring road (coming from Horsforth towards Pudsey section) so possible loanee to Bradford?

Could be going on loan and/or bringing some drivers across to pick up a few buses for use on the York races on Friday & Saturday.

That is normal the Purple Line services are usually worked by a Mix of B7RLEs and Geminis with the odd B10BLE and ALX400s sometimes appearing

Probably a little unusual is that AY Enviro400s 1906 and 1913, the two unbranded buses of this batch, were both operating on the 268 today. Whilst the others normally patrol this route, these two can usually be found operating on other Heckmondwike operated services.

Did you notice if the Destination Screen on 1906 was working, it had been seen the other week with manual roller blind sheets in the front windscreen?

Noticed 32025 on the 50, after 30935 was parked up on eastgate on same route, and Strangest of all noticed an all Red London Bus Enviro 400 (Brand new, it was shiny red) heading Down M621 to Leeds from Birstall Empty!!!, had rail replacement on the Tfl style blinds, appeared to be stagecoach style inside, so im guessing its theirs. But what was it doing all the way over here, not exactly a London direction haha. ;D

Can't be certain, but I think it was back to normal. I was on it last week when it had an "alternative" style of destination display!

Transdev Harrogate President 2709 on 36

Transdev Harrogate President 2709 on 36 Quite a common occurance - theres a comment on the Yahoo Blazefield group that the 36 refurbishment ran into difficulty in having 4 Gemini 1 s away for refurb as the replacement 5 vehicles (the 4 Coastliners ones plus the rebuilt 2706) could not cope. Not quite certain why 5 vehicles could not be more than adequate for 4 missing ones.
