EB have acquired a Volvo B10L / Alexander Ultra which I think is R984 SSA which was at Stephensons previously. It is neatly painted in EBs white livery but does not presently have a working destination display - it had a very large and pretty unmissable white poster with 58 in black on it this lunchtime. Presumably the still Reading liveried vehicle is being repainted.

Presumably the still Reading liveried vehicle is being repainted. They have both from Stephensons, being used as back up, and it was out replace the one that has gone to Tholthorpe to be painted! In other news; YT11EBT will be in Darlington tomorrow promoting Leger holidays!

The had a unbranded Grey livered vehicle in use today on the 56/7/8 workings - think it was an 06 reg and had an emergency exit was about halfway down the drivers side.

Its still in use in its acquired livery with a paper number stuck on the windscreen - seems to be regular on the 1142 weekdays 58 from Knaresborough via Ferrensby and Knaresborough to Harrogate (1239), 1247 56 Harrogate via Knaresborough to Ripon

The two Ultra's are now gone and a Scania is off the road long term.
